Janette Kimble

Danville Janette Kimble, 87, of Danville passed away at 7:21 pm on September 2, 2019 at home. Janette was born on November 11, 1931 the daughter of Herman C. and Clara (Adams) Reed in Wilmington, DE.

Survivors include one brother; Floyd C. Reed of Terre Haute, IN, one sister; Pauline Francis of Sun City, AZ, special niece; Bonnie (Danny) Lazzell of Danville, as well as several other nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Janette is preceded in death by her parents, one son; John Clemmons, Jr, three brothers; Charles, Herman C. Jr, and David Reed, two sisters; Tony Hungerford and Mabel Smith

Janette received her Doctorate in Philosophy from Indiana University in Terre Haute, IN. She enjoyed ballroom dancing and was a dancer at the Arthur Murray School of Dance when her son; John owned a franchise in Northern Indiana. Janette was an art teacher in public schools for many years and a very talented artist. Janette could take a photograph of a person or subject and "recreate" that image with almost lifelike quality. Janette also wrote two novels in her younger years.

As per her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded with Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, 3940 N. Vermilion Street Danville, IL is assisting the family with arrangements.
