Janet Scheurich

Janet Puyear Scheurich, 85 of Bloomington, Champaign and formally of Bethany, IL. passed away on January 21, 2023 at Carle BroMenn Medical Center in Normal, IL. Janet was born on May 21, 1937 to Don and Fern Puyear of Bethany, IL. She attended Bethany High School and graduated from Eastern Illinois College in Charleston, IL. She taught Home Economics and later became House Director for a sorority at the University of Illinois. Janet is survived by her sons, Don and David Scheurich, two granddaughters, one grandson, brother Dean Puyear, and sister-in-law Cleo Puyear as well as several nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Bill. A graveside service will be held at 11am on April 22, 2023 at Marrowbone Township Cemetery in Bethany, IL. a luncheon will follow at the Bethany Firehouse.
