Janet K. Meeker Humphries Janet K. Meeker Humphries, 45, of Danville passed this life to be welcomed by the Lord at 11:55 am, January 6, 2008 at Provena United Samaritan Medical Center after a long battle with cancer. Janet was born November 5, 1962 in Danville, the daughter of John and Jean (Day) Meeker. She is survived by her mother, two brothers, Don Meeker of Danville, and Dan Meeker of Fairmount; one sister, Connie Meeker of Danville; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and one brother Dick. A graduate of Bismarck-Henning High School, Janet continued her education and became a radiation therapist. She loved her career and the many people she was able to care for. Every patient Janet treated became a part of her loving heart. She truly was an Angel of Hope. Angel of Hope She is the believer in hope And all things hopeful- She is the sharer of strength, Courage and love. She is a woman who defines Grace because she lives by it- Her life is a gift, a light, and An inspiration to all who know her. Janet was truly loved by her family and will be sorely missed. Per Janets wishes, there will be no visitations or service. A private family gathering will be held at Johnson Cemetery at a later date. To all of Janets friends and loved ones- Janet wishes you to remember all the good times she may have shared with you. Remember the smiles and the laughter for she loved life, and the part you had in her life. Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center is in charge of arrangements.
