Janet Hollingsworth

Janet (Kinderman) Hollingsworth, 83, of Newport, Indiana passed away on Tuesday March 21, 2023 at Gibson Family Center for Hospice in Terre Haute, Indiana. Janet was born the daughter of Ralph and Berniece (Rumple) Kinderman on July 6, 1939. Janet married Paul Hollingsworth on November 11, 1960 in Newport, Indiana. He survives.

Janet will be missed by her husband Paul, her brother Loren Kinderman, and two sisters: Mary Margret Frink and Glenda Snyder.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents.

Janet worked for over forty years at the Department of Agriculture as the office manager. Janet enjoyed her time at the house writing short stories and poems. She was a private person but enjoyed her family and time spent with them. Also Janet enjoyed collecting dolls.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 12 est. on Saturday March 25, 2023 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center DeVerter Chapel 215 N Division St. Cayuga, Indiana 47928. With Lee Taylor officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home two hours prior to the service. Burial will be in Thomas Cemetery in Newport, Indiana.
