Janet Anderson

Janet Lynn Anderson, 67, passed away February 14, 2018, in Las Vegas, Nev. Per her wishes, she was cremated in Las Vegas. Janet was born January 29, 1951, in Danville to Vivian and Glen Schultz. She attended Danville schools and graduated in 1969. She then attended Eastern Illinois University. She married Terry Anderson in Danville on August 26, 1970. They had two sons, Ryan and Jared Anderson. She was later divorced. Janet was employed at Lauhoff Grain for several years before moving to Las Vegas. During her years in Las Vegas, she was employed as administrative assistant/casino host at Palace Station. Surviving family includes two sons, Ryan of Las Vegas and Jared (Marithe) of Indianapolis; her parents; and three grandchildren, Rian, Mateo and Siena. Also, her sister, Connie West of Terre Haute, Ind., a nephew and three nieces. Visitation and memorial services for Janet will be 1-3 p.m. Saturday, March 3, at Sunset Funeral Home, 3940 N. Vermilion St., Danville. Burial will be in Lower Mound Cemetery near Covington.
