Jane King

Cayuga, Ind. - Jane King, 78, of Cayuga, passed away at 1:15 p.m. EDT Sunday, May 20, 2012 at her residence. She was born January 29, 1934 in Parke County, Indiana, the daughter of the late Leslie and Gladys Winters Warnick. She married Samuel B. King on February 16, 1952 in Cayuga, Indiana. He preceded her in death on October 6, 2007. Survivors include her two grandsons, Matthew Ray and Lucas Scott King both of Cayuga, Indiana; daughter in law, Connie King of Cayuga, Indiana; sister in law, Connie Warnick of rural Kingman, Indiana (Silver Island Community) and several nieces and nephews. Jane was preceded in death by two sons, Rick E. and Tim R. King; one sister and three brothers. Jane was a member of the Eugene United Methodist Church. She was a 1951 graduate of Cayuga High School. Jane was the organist at DeVerter Funeral Home since 1974. She enjoyed reading, mushrooming and taking care of her home. She was especially proud of her two grandsons and enjoyed spending time with them. Funeral services: 11 a.m. EDT Thursday, May 24, 2012 at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana; Officiating: Rev.
