Jane Haga

E. Jane Haga E. Jane Haga, 76, of Danville, passed away at 12:20 pm Thursday, September 18, 2008 at St. Clare Medical Center in Crawfordsville, Indiana. Jane was born on July 6, 1932 in Danville, the daughter of Fred and Ethel (Brant) Lucas. She married Russ Haga on September 21, 1950 in Paris, Illinois. He preceded her in death on January 21, 1974. She is survived by her four daughters- Debbie (Jim) Crose of Danville, Marian (Phil) Yakey of Lawrenceville, Illinois, Jeanne Haga of Danville and Jenny (Brad) Blakeney of Greenville, South Carolina; eight grandchildren- Jake (Paula) Crose of Chicago, Andy (Megan) Crose of Raleigh, North Carolina, Amanda Crose of Chicago, Brian (Rachel) Yakey of King, North Carolina, Mark Yakey of Manchester, New Hampshire, Hilary Blakeney of Nashville, Tennessee, Hannah Blakeney and Hayden Blakeney both of Greenville, South Carolina; four great-granddaughters- Alison Crose of Chicago, Amelia and Matilda Crose of Raleigh, North Carolina and Madelyn Yakey of King, North Carolina; a brother-in-law- Norm (Delores) Haga of Blanchard, Louisiana; a sister-in-law- Jan Lucas of Lafayette, Indiana; and several nieces and nephews. Jane loved spending time with all of her family. Jane was preceded in death by her parents, husband and four brothers- Robert Lucas, Dale Lucas, Pat Lucas and Charles Lucas. A Celebration of the Life of E. Jane Haga will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 22, 2008 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Pastor Phil Yakey officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00-11:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Gundy Cemetery following the service.
