Jane E Mcmillin

Jane E. McMillin, 93, of Danville died at 9:27pm on July 11, 2019 at OSF Heart of Mary Medical Center in Urbana. She was born February 8, 1926 in Clinton, MN the daughter of John and Anna Smith. She married G. Neil McMillin in San Diego, CA in 1945. He passed on October 25, 2011.

Surviving Jane is daughter, Dawn McMillin of Danville, seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.

Jane is preceded in death by her parents, husband; daughter, Diann McIntosh, three brothers and three sisters.

Jane had been an antique dealer since 1958. She was a licensed pilot and flew the family plane in the 1968 ILLI-NINES AIR DERBY air race. She enjoyed traveling, camping boating, gardening, volunteering and water skiing all with her husband. She belonged to the Vermilion Heights Christian Church. Jane also donated multiple properties to the City of Danville.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2pm on Tuesday July 16, 2019 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center 3940 N. Vermilion St. in Danville, Illinois 61834. Officiating will be pastor Raymie Gordon. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park in Danville. Visitation will be held from 4pm to 7pm on Monday July 15, 2019 at the funeral home.
