Jane E. Jenkins

Danville Jane Ellen Jenkins, 68, of Danville passed away at 5:06 PM on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at her home. She was born on November 21, 1951 in Danville, the daughter of Charles and Betty (Reuther) Jenkins.

She is survived by a daughter, Eleanor (Andrew) Peters of Danville; two granddaughters, Isabelle and Rebecca Peters; sister Carolyn Sue Jenkins of California; and a nephew, John Petrouski of California.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her grandparents, John and Irene Reuther.

Jane most recently worked in tech support in her previous home state of Washington. She was a horse racing enthusiast and loved NASA and the Space Program. She enjoyed reading, creating crafts, and being with her cat.

Per Janes wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, 3940 N. Vermilion St. Danville, IL 61834, has been entrusted with arrangements.
