Jane Carol Gerdausky

Jane Carol Foulk Gerdausky, 96, of Covington, passed away on December 10, 2022, at Autumn Trace in Attica, Indiana. Jane was born on January 10, 1926, in Danville, Illinois, the daughter of Nellie and John Foulk. She had two sisters and two brothers who preceded her in death. Jane married John Gerdausky, Jr. on February 2, 1947. John preceded her in death in 2008 after 61 years of marriage. She has three daughters, Judy Simmons of San Diego, CA, Carol Call of Lexington, KY, and Cathy (Don) Hesler of Covington, IN. She also has five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and one great-great grandson. The Gerdauskys lived most of their lives in Danville, IL, but also lived in Louisville, KY , and Covington, IN, while wintering in Clearwater, FL. Jane earned her Associates degree from William Woods College. She was a kindergarten teacher, girl scout leader, 4-H Leader and a member of Central Christian Church. She was a talented crafter and an avid Bridge player. In honoring Janes wishes, there will no public services. She was accorded cremation rites.
