Jamie was born in Clinton, Indiana to the late Robert and Brenda (Ryland) Flynn on July 18, 1963.
Jamie was raised in Cayuga, Indiana with her siblings Gayle (David) Ross and James “Jim” (Julie) Flynn. Jamie graduated from North Vermilion High School in 1981. She continued to reside in Cayuga for many years to follow. Jamie is known for her courage, strength, and unwavering presence in every room. She was always up for new adventures, especially with her lifelong best friend Sara Wegman. One of her many special traits was her ability to find four leaf clovers and being the last person standing at every party.
Jamie had a soul that was full of love and light. She dedicated part of her life to caring to one of her stepchildren, Meagan Bates, who preceded her in death. She was the ultimate organizer of all parties and special events. Jamie loved capturing any and all memories at any given chance. She had a great eye for fashion and interior design. She loved the outdoors and summer months. Her skin glowed with the warmest tan all year round.
Jamie’s creativity was unmatched. Her abilities shined with her closest friends at the Annual Witches Coven. She was very driven in her beliefs. Her strong will was instilled into every decision she made. She always made sure she provided and gave to those that she cared for and loved deeply.
One of Jamie’s many passions in life was her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She leaves behind her children and step children: Travis Parke (Loran Plunkett), Kylee Kimbrough (Lucas Johnson), Kailyn Huff (Cody Huff), and Dalton Weaver (Emilee Campbell), Tara (Chris) Roe, and John (Brittany) Konen Jr. Jamie’s grandchildren, who will miss her deeply, include: Grace Parke, Lennon Parke, Haddison Hack, Hayden Hack, Trey Kimbrough, Avery Huff, Lauren Roe, Max Roe, Everett Bates, John Konen III, and Evelyn Konen.
