Jamie Ann Williams

Champaign, Ill. - Jamie Ann Williams, 31, of Champaign and formerly of Cayuga, passed away at 10:30 p.m. CDT Saturday, March 25, 2017 at her residence.

She was born April 21, 1985 in Danville, Illinois the daughter of the Anna Marie (Rogers) Lamb and Joseph LeRoy Carpenter.

She married Robert Williams in April 2005. He survives.

Other survivors include her two sons, Damion and Braden Williams both of Champaign, Illinois; her father, Joseph L. Carpenter of Danville, Illinois; three sisters, Kristy (Dashaun Hughes) Carpenter of Urbana, Illinois; Corrie Hardin and Johnna Hochstetler both of Danville, Illinois; four brothers, Terrence "Terry" (Rechelle) Peterson of Bloomingdale, Indiana; Mark, Joe and Cody Carpenter all of Danville, Illinois; sister-in-law, Ashley Peterson of Veedersburg, Indiana; special friend, Megan (Allen) Clawson of Veedersburg, Indiana, and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Jamie was preceded in death by her mother, Anna Marie Lamb and step father, Randy Lamb.

Jamie was currently employed at Wendy's in Champaign. She was a 2003 graduate of North Vermillion High School. She enjoyed her pets and listening to music. Jamie especially took pride in raising her two sons and being a good mother.

Funeral services: 4 p.m. EDT Friday, March 31, 2017 at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana; Burial: Eugene Cemetery in Eugene, Indiana; Visitation: 2 p.m. EDT Friday, March 31, 2017 until time of services at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to help with expenses.
