James Warner Hoover

Danville - James Warner Hoover, 87, went to be with the Lord on March 18, 2016. He was born on June 29, 1928 in Danville, IL the son of Andrew & Esther (Huber) Hoover. He married Bettie DeMoss on March 15, 1946 in Danville. James is survived by his daughter Cindy (Tom) Boroff; granddaughter Amy (Shane) Mowers; great-grandchildren Ethan special niece & newphew Beverly & Raymond Lacey; several cousins, nieces, & nephews. James is preceded in death by his parents, wife, & brother Andrew Hoover. James enjoyed collecting coins & John Wayne memorabilia, and he liked watching Westerns. He worked at General Motors for over 40 years before retiring in 1990. Private services will be held at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center with burial to follow at Springhill Cemetery.
