James Madison Walker, 34, of Lawton, OK, formerly of Catlin, passed away at 10:15 p.m. on July 15, 2004 after a long battle with the AIDS virus. He was born on December 14, 1969 in Sterling, IL the son of Patricia Walker. Survivors include: five sisters, Janet (Neil) Nance of Oklahoma, Diane (Melvin) Baugh of Chrisman, Rita (Bob) Huff of Catlin, Laura Krage of Danville, and Lisa Krage of Perrysville, IN; one brother, Terry Walker of Rock Falls, IL; sixteen nieces and nephews; two great nieces, Emilee and Mia; one great nephew, Cole. He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Walker. Jim worked as a Health Care Aid. He enjoyed traveling to schools and different places to educate people about AIDS. Jim enjoyed fishing, mushrooming, gardening, and bingo. He also enjoyed cooking and playing with his dog Harley. He especially loved being with his family.
