James 'Scott' Weidig

James "Scott" Weidig, 57, of Tilton left this world with his family by his side, on September 23, 2019. Born to James and Carolyn Weidig, March 11, 1962.

He was married to Penny (Dieu) Weidig on September 7, 1985, where they were blessed to share 34 wonderful years together. She Survives. They raised 2 wonderful children, Branden (Ashley) Weidig, and Chelsea (Douglas) Connor, and enjoyed his 2 beautiful grandchildren Rhett and Jaylee, also surviving. Scott leaves behind his sister Tammy Paschall, and nephew Kyle (Lyndsey) Bogard, as well. Also survived by lifelong friends Glen (Bernita) Shelato.

He had a passion for firefighting and helping his community from a young age and continued to do what he loved until 2014 when he dimmed his light for it and turned his light brighter for his family. He was an extraordinary Husband, Dad, Brother, Uncle, Pap-Paw and friend. He will be missed by many. Above all else, He was a diehard Cubs fan and rooted for them every game (Even though he might be a little upset with them right now).

He is preceded in death by his parents and, a host of family and friends.
