James Bruce McDonald, 49, of Danville passed away at 6:26 pm Wednesday November 10, 2004 at Loyola Medical Center in Maywood, IL. James was born May 17, 1955 in Danville the son of Thomas and Rosemary (Jones) McDonald. Survivors include his Father Thomas McDonald of Danville 2 brothers Steven (Leanne) McDonald of Danville and Brian (Amy) McDonald of Indianapolis, IN. 3 nieces Brooke McDonald of Danville and Riley and Tierney McDonald of Indianapolis, IN and 1 nephew Mason McDonald of Indianapolis, IN. James's mother Rosemary preceded him in death. James graduated from Danville High School and Western Illinois University, where he played on the tennis team. James also was a former Danville City Men's Doubles Champion. James currently served as President of Thomas C. McDonald INC. a firm specializing in real estate investing and financial planning. James was active in his community serving as past president of Danville Lions Club and had served many years on the Vermilion County Board and was currently Chairman of the Finance Committee. James was a member of St. James United Methodist Church.
