James Mackey

James R. (Jim) Mackey passed away at the Vermillion Manor Nursing Home August 9, 2009. He was born to John O. and Mary E. Mackey January 24th, 1954. He married Mary E. Coffman on June 13th, 1981. He leaves behind a daughter Elizabeth. Mother Mary E. Mackey, two brothers: William Mackey of Salem Missouri and Joseph Mackey of Negaunee Michigan, mother in law Carolyn Coffman of Danville Illinois, sister in laws Martha Coffman of Danville Illinois and Nora Peal of Urbana Illinois. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Coffman-Mackey, father John Mackey and three brothers Charles, John and Gerald. No formal services will be held. Sunset Funeral Home of Danville handled arrangements. In lieu of flowers any expressions of sympathy should be directed to the Elizabeth Coffman-Mackey Scholarship Fund at the First Financial Bank of Danville or the American Cancer Society.
