James 'Kevin' Roderick

State Line James Kevin Roderick, 54, passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at OSF Heart of Mary Medical Center in Urbana, IL. He was born on February 2, 1968 in Danville, IL to James A and Audrey (Talbert) Roderick.

Kevin is survived by his parents; siblings Duane (Nancy) Roderick of Attica, IN, Troy (Rita) Roderick of Alvin, IL, Loretta (Brian) Matherlee of High Point, NC; nieces Abbi, Britt, Ashley, and Emily; nephews Nate, Corey, Blake, Chase, and Dylan; great-nieces Weaver and Harper; great-nephew Smith; many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; and his best companion Chloe. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Kevin enjoyed dirt track racing, fishing, and staying at the lake. He worked at Fiberteq. Kevin was a fan of the Chicago Cubs, Indianapolis Colts, and Indiana University basketball.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center. Graveside committal with military honors will be held at 11am on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at Walnut Corner Cemetery in Bismarck, IL.
