James “Jimmy” Frazier Jr., 18, of Westville, passed away at 5:27 pm on Thursday, April 17, 2014 at Presence Mercy Medical Center, Aurora, IL. He was born in Danville on November 16, 1995, the son of James Frazier Sr. and Angela Mc Near. Jimmy is survived by: his parents, Angel (Bryan) McNear and James (Vickie) Frazier Sr., all of Westville; two sisters, Megan Nicole Frazier and Laura Anne Frazier, both of Westville; one brother, Kenneth Smitley of San Antonio, TX; four aunts, Nancy (Pat) Colleen of Danville, Erin (Brian) Bailey of Sidney, Dana Clark of Westville, and Tina Clark of Murfreesboro, TN; six uncles, Sam (Kendra) Doggett of Danville, John (Robyn) Frazier of Greenville, OH, Joe (Amanda) Frazier of Fairbury, William (Amber) Frazier of Greenville, OH, Richard (Laura) Clark of Oakwood, and Joseph (Lauren) Clark of Murfreesboro, TN; his grandparents, Harry & Sally Doggett of Westville, John & Ruby Frazier of Danville, Bill & Roberta McKee of Ogden and Harley & Genevieve Clark of Murfreesboro, TN; his great grandparents, Johnnie & Lucille Frazier of Danville, Alice Dukes of Danville, and Ruth Mc Near of St. Joseph; many cousins; his cats Ozzie & Hannah; and his friends and the staff at Northern Illinois Academy. Jimmy loved to cook. His favorites were steak fries and anything containing or made with cheese. Of course, Jimmy would always add more cheese just for good measure. You would often find him in front of the TV playing video games. His favorites being Lego Batman, Army and any game that involved racing. He enjoyed watching Americas Funniest Home Videos and shopping in antique stores. Jimmys latest dream was to become a police officer or join a branch of the armed services. His passion was spending time with his family, shopping with the ladies and hanging out with the guys. He was looking forward to becoming an Uncle in July. Jimmy will be missed by all who knew him. A Celebration of Jimmys life will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at 10:00 am at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel with Pastor James Blue officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Memorial donations in Jimmys name may be made to “XXYY Project”, P.O. Box 2172, Littleton, Colorado 80161-2172 to help fund research and support families.
