James 'Jim' Robert Wynn

James "Jim" Robert Wynn, 93, of Hendersonville, TN, formerly of Danville, passed away at 4:15pm, Monday, June 3, 2019, at his home. He was born on February 15, 1926 the son of Earl A. and Millie {Montgomery} Wynn. He was united in marriage to Bethelene Mitchell on December 21, 1953, until her passing on December 29, 1984. He is survived by: his son, James "Mike" Wynn; his daughter, Marsha (Mick) Fredrick; and his granddaughter, Anne Marie Osborn. He was preceded in death by his parents, his infant son, James Clay Wynn; and his brothers, Harold, Richard, John, & Kenneth Wynn. Jim worked for District 118 in Danville as a custodian for many years. He was a proud Veteran of the US Army. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church of Danville, the Tilton Historical Society, and AARP. Jim will be missed by many. A celebration of Jims life will be held at 10:00am, Friday, June 7, 2019, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center of Danville, located at 3940 N. Vermilion St. Visitation will be held 4:00pm - 7:00pm, Thursday, June 6, 2019 at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest in Songer Cemetery.
