James 'Jim' Fox

James Jim Fox, 90, of Danville, IL, passed away at 6:05pm, Tuesday, July 4, 2023, at his home. He was born on January 22, 1933, in Buckley, Illinois. He was first married to Darlene Scheive in 1954 and they had two daughters, Cheryl Lee and Melinda Kay, both survive him. He later married Janet Holm, until her passing in 2010. Jim was a proud Veteran of the US Army. He worked for Local 841 for many years. He will be missed by friends and family as well as his best canine friend, Bella. A special thank you to Michelle Powell, Karyn Conder, Ronnie Howard, Bill Guge, and Brad (Shannon) Hayes for taking care of Jim, as well as OSF Hospice, Danville, IL. A Memorial visitation will be held 10:00am to 11:00am, Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Westville, Illinois 414 S State St. Westville, Illinois 61883 with a service to follow at 11:00am with Pastor James Blue officiating.
