James Hawn

James "Jim" R. Hawn, 67, of Cayuga passed away on Saturday December 9, 2023, at OSF Sacred Heart Hospital in Danville, Illinois. Jim was born the son of Russell and Helen Kathleen (Vandevender) Hawn on January 16, 1956, in Clinton, Indiana. Jim married Dianna Johnson and they enjoyed each others company till her passing.

Jim worked for Vermillion County Highway Department until his retirement. Since then, he had been busy taking care of his friends and family and enjoying spending time outdoors. Jim loved to hunt, golf, garden, and take long walks in the woods.

Jim leaves behind his siblings, Kathy (Rob) Manion, Ruth Baker, Janet Hawn, Phillip (Cathy) Hawn, and Becky (Tim) Stotlar, his stepchildren, Tammy (Raydal) Omundson, and Frankie Grimes, his partner Melinda Nagrodski, and a good friend Charlie Craft, several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Jim leaves behind a huge hole in his friends and familys hearts and he will be greatly missed.
