_James Frost 79, of Georgetown, passed away on Monday, June 29, 2009 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born on March 9, 1930 in Harriman, Tenn., the son of James and Mary Belle (Hickman) Frost. On May 15, 1970, James married Ms. Ruth Nagasako in Los Vegas, NV. She survives along with two daughters, Linda Ward of Florida, and Pam (James) Hyde of Westville. Also surviving are his four grandchildren, Kevin (Debbie) Delgado of Florida, Eric (Erin) Ward of Indiana, Kimberly Mattes-Richards, and husband, (Shawn) Richards of Westville, and Jaimee Hyde of Westville, and his six great-grandchildren. His parent's, one sister, one brother, and one granddaughter preceded James in death. James retired from the USMC after 30 years of service, and then began working as a Director of Recreation at the former Chanute Air Force Base in Rantoul, IL. until base closure forced him to retire. James was also a park ranger at the Forest Glen County Preserve in Westville. He enjoyed taking his family and grandchildren, traveling and camping. James also looked forward to the Frost Family Reunions. He also enjoyed volunteering at the Danville War Museum whenever needed. Per James and his family's wishes, cremation rites will take place, a memorial visitation will be held at Sunset Funeral Home, and Cremation Center located at 3940 N.
