Danville - James Francis Davis, Jr, 42 of Danville passed away at 4:00 AM on Sunday May 14, 2017 in Franklin, IN. James was born on July 31, 1974 the son of James F. and Shirley (Pasquale) Davis. in Danville, IL. James is survived by his wife, Christina Davis of Westville, IL, one brother Terry Davis of Orlando, FL, one sister, Sherry (Jesse) Shumard of Georgetown, IL as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. James is preceded in death by his parents. James was a laborer and known by many for his wonderful sense of humor and being mischievous. He was always up for playing a prank and he also enjoyed singing. It was a dream of James to someday start a band. Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday May 20, 2017 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 3940 N. Vermilion Street, Danville, IL. Raymie Gordon will officiate. Inurnment will be at a later date. Visitation will be held Saturday May 20, 2017 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM at the funeral home.
