James E. Miller

DANVILLE - James Edward Miller Jr., 22, of Danville passed away Monday September 8, 2014 at Presence United Samaritans Medical Center in Danville. Born May 15, 1992 in Danville, he was the son of James Edward Sr. and Kelly Jean Miller. James worked in the construction business with his father. He loved to skateboard and long board, singing, playing his guitar and jamming out with his friends and family. He was great at writing music and poetry, and he loved his moms cooking. James enjoyed bonfires, and camping with his friends and family. He never met a stranger, and he was a lovable guy who was humorous, charismatic and genuine. He is survived by his parents; two sisters, Jennifer Miller and Jessica (Chris) Swearingen; nieces and nephews, Kylie and Lucas Swearingen, and Jack and Quinn Miller; 6 cousins, Travis, Whitney and Christopher Killion and Mindy, Joseph and Christina Miller; maternal grandmother, Susan Killion; paternal grandmother, Anna Miller; four uncles, Marc (Janice) Killion, Kris (Clara) Killion, John C. Miller Jr., Joseph Raymond (Barb) Miller; and his love, Ashley Budnovich. He was preceded in death by his brother, Timothy Miller; nephew, Nicholas Swearingen; maternal grandfather, Norman Killion; paternal grandfather, John C. Miller; and great grandmother Margaret Martin. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 14th at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home in Danville. A service to celebrate James life will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday following visitation at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Gordon Cemetery, Danville.
