Perrysville, Ind. - James E. "Bud" Stout, 81, of Perrysville, passed away at 3:45 p.m. EST Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at Terre Haute Regional Hospital in Terre Haute, Indiana. He was born February 26, 1930 in Veedersburg, Indiana, the son of the late James F. and Eva Marie Kirby Stout. He married Martha Wilson on July 18, 1980 in Perrysville, Indiana. She survives. Other survivors include one son, Michael(Donna Jo)Stout of Perrysville, Indiana; two step daughters, Pam Pickering and LuAnn(Steve)Loveall both of Virginia; his mother in law, Maxine M. Wilson of Perrysville, Indiana; several grandchildren; one great grandson and one sister, Loraine(Jerry)McIntosh of Chicago, Illinois. He was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Tabatha Stout and one great granddaughter, Maddyx Stitt. Bud worked for 42 years at General Electric in the maintenance department, retiring in 1990. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving with the United States Army. Bud was a lifetime member of the Perrysville American Legion Post 350. He was also a member of the former Perrysville Lions Club. Bud enjoyed tinkering, going to auctions, fishing, watching Colts football and going to Casino's and play the slot machines. Graveside services and burial: Saturday, November 19, 2011 at 2 p.m. EST at Lower Mound Cemetery north of Perrysville, Indiana with graveside military rites by the Perrysville American Legion Post 350; Officiating: Corey Andry. There will be no visitation. DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana in charge of arrangements.
