James Bolton

POTOMAC - James Richard Gregory Bolton, 31, of Potomac passed away suddenly Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at Franciscan St. Anthony Health in Michigan City, Indiana. Born January 18, 1984 in Danville, Illinois, he was the son of James E. II and Johna (Duncan) Bolton. James was currently a full time student, and had a great thirst for knowledge. He enjoyed fishing and building cars with his dad. James was a strong believer in Jesus Christ, and enjoyed reading the Bible, along with many other types of books. He loved spending time with his daughters, they were his world. James is survived by two daughters, Makenzie Gooch, of Ridge Farm and Gracie Lynne Bolton, of Indianapolis; his parents, Johna and James Bolton II of Potomac; his paternal grandmother, Marcia Ruth Gillis of Danville; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, James E. Bolton; maternal grandparents, John W. Duncan, Lois and Richard Dokey; and a cousin, Scott Bolton. A service to celebrate James life will be 11 a.m. Monday, January 26, 2015 at Sunsets Oakwood Chapel with Pastor Phil Miller officiating. He will be laid to rest in Greenwood Cemetery in Tilton following services. The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. Monday until the time of service at the funeral home.
