James Barnes

James W. Barnes, 69, of Catlin, died at 7:43 pm on Sunday, July 16, 2006 at his home. He was born September 8, 1936 in Danville, IL the son of Jonathan Shirley and Harriet Alice (Kraul) Barnes. He married Juanita Sue Carl in 1954. She preceded him in death on July 29, 1989. James is survived by two sons: Jim Bo (Jamie Lynn) Barnes of Georgetown, Carl Lynn (Debbie) Barnes of Catlin; one daughter: Vicky (Shukri) AlMahrous of Kuwait; five brothers: Buddy, Gene, Jack, Walter, and Bill Barnes; two sisters: Judy Jennings, Mary Laub; six grandchildren, five great grandchildren and a special friend: Sue Sams of Crawfordsville, IN. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife: Juanita; and four brothers: Kenneth, Joe, Bob, and Don Barnes. James worked as a tool and die maker most of his life, recently working for Tridan in Danville. He loved fishing and camping
