James Andrew Freeman

Champaign - James "Andy" Andrew Freeman, 56, passed away on Sunday March 5, 2017 at his home in Champaign, IL. He was born on May 12, 1960 to James R. and Shirley A. Freeman. Andy is survived by his parents; children Jamee (C.P.) Collins and Travis (Teresa) Freeman; grandchildren Caley, Drew, Kingston, Jaxson, and Jameson; brothers Bryan Freeman and Mark Freeman; nephews Dylan and Chase; former spouse Deana Davis; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents several aunts & uncles. Andy was a fan of Illini sports, the St. Louis Cardinals, and the Minnesota Vikings. He also enjoyed fishing and playing golf. A celebration of life service will be held on May 13 at the Mahomet Sportsmen's Club. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Andy's name to the American Cancer Society.
