Jacqueline (Jacque) Wilson, 90, of Carmel IN, passed away Saturday June 10, 2017. Jacqueline was born in Terre Haute, IN, on June 14, 1926. She was the daughter of Paul and Esther Loser. On September 18, 1948 Jacqueline married the love of her life Walt Wilson and they spent the next 51 together before his passing in 1999. Jacque is survived by her daughter, Ann (Mark) Uchida; two sons, Doug (Jayne Ann) Wilson, John (Cheryl) Wilson; five grandchildren, Amy (Jack) Hough, Jennifer (Chris) Holcomb, Sean Wilson, Blair (Rachel) Wilson, Alison (Brian) Wells and five great-grandchildren, Cole Hough, Levi Hough, Tucker Hough, Dallas Wells, Dawson Wells. Jacque was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sister, Ann Echert. Jacque received a bachelor's degree from Butler University and later received her masters from Ball State University. She was a devoted teacher for over 30 years before retiring in 1991 at age 65. Jacqueline and Walt enjoyed traveling, spending time with family and were members of the St. Paul Catholic Church in Danville. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and in her spare time could be found playing bridge, cross stitching, or enjoying a good book. Sunset Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial donations be sent to the Alzheimers Foundation or the Wawasee Area Conservancy Foundation.
