Jacqueline Powell

Covington - Jacqueline "Jackie" Lee Powell, 58, of Covington IN, went to be with the Lord on Saturday May 16, 2015 with her family by her side in Indianapolis, IN. Jackie was born in Danville, IL to Jack and Roberta (Townsend) Powell. She is survived by her brothers Clifford Powell of Covington and Todd Powell Tennessee; five nieces and nephews Kevin Powell, Kayla (Josh) Copas, Dustin Powell, Katie Powell, and Tiauna Goodman; and nine great-nieces and nephews Gage Copas, Gatlin Copas, Delilah Douglass, Elliette Mitchell, Mariya Powell, Daphe Copas, Harper Powell, Paizlee Powell, and Brakyn Goodman. She was preceded in death by her parents Jack and Roberta Powell and her brother Kevin Lee Powell. Jackie loved traveling, reading, her dog Chewy, visiting with family and friends and always being outdoors. She was known for her contagious laugh and smile, free spirit, and unconditional love. She also spent much of her life and energy taking care of loved ones. For many years, she worked in the home healthcare industry in surrounding areas. She especially adored spending time with Jack and Marcia Good. Jacqueline left an everlasting impression on many lives and to anyone to have ever crossed her path. A celebration of life memorial visitation for Jackie will be held on Saturday May 23, 2015 at Sunset's Covington Chapel from 10:00 am EST to 1:00 pm EST.
