Jacqueline Sue Link - God sent his angels to take Jacqueline Sue Link (Streuer), 69, of Danville to her heavenly home on April 6, 2014 at 4:37 pm. She left this earth with daughter, grandson and family surrounding her. She was born June 4, 1944 to Robert and Laura Streuer of Danville, IL, who preceded her in death. She was married June 5, 1992 to Robert David Link, who also preceded her in death in 2012. She leaves behind her daughter, Camille Lynn Sciscoe, of Danville, her grandson, Andrew James Foster of Danville and her great-grandson, Charles “Charlie” Mason James Tanksley of Bloominton, IN. Other survivors include sister, Sonna Lou Strauer of Danville, IL; brother, Robert (Karen) Streuer of Danville, IL; one niece, Amber (Nate) Bryum; two great nieces, Presley Addison Byrum and Regan Mae Byrum also of Danville, IL. Jacqueline was preceded in death by her older sister, Darlene Ruth (Paul) Donaldson of Danville, IL in 2012. Jacqueline enjoyed attending Sunday morning service at Hillery Assembly Church of God, where she occasionally played the organ. She also played the organ while her husband played guitar. She enjoyed singing and playing gospel music with her brother and sister and family. She was an avid Cubs fan and enjoyed watching the games on television. She also enjoyed watching classic movies with her daughter. Jackie also enjoyed the times speaking with her great grandson, Charlie, over the phone and visiting with him when her and grandson lived in southern Indiana. She collected and enjoyed Dutch windmills. Her love for windmills began when she spent time in Germany and the ability to see other European countries with Holland being one of her favorites. Jacqueline had a Thrifty Nickel paper route, which she worked on one day a week. Recently she had her grandson alongside her and helping her. A celebration of Jacquelines life will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville with Pastor Kenny Young officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 PM prior to the service. Burial will take place at Sunset Memorial Park. Memorials can be made in her name to the American Heart Association.
