Jacqueline "Jackie" F. Tellier

Danville – Jacqueline “Jackie” F. Tellier, 84, of Danville passed away at 10:14 AM on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at Hawthorne Inn of Danville. She was born July 18, 1940 in Cramerton, NC to Emmett and Pauline (Johnson) Johnston. She married Everett “Bud” Tellier on August 24, 1956. He survives.

Also surviving are three children, Debra (Joseph) Krilcich of Danville, Dorothy Williams of Covington, and Jenifer (Jim) Whitington of Oakwood; five grandchildren, Joel Krilcich, Rachel (Bryce) Anderson, Stephanie (Darrell) Green, Rayne Whitington, and Cory (Krista) Whitington; two great grandchildren, Zayne and Madi; and a sister, Nancy (Ed) Whisenant.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Johnston, sister Virginia Caudill, and a son-in-law, Steve Williams.

Jackie served as a CNA at Colonial Manor Nursing Home before moving on to home health care. She worked at Time-O-Matic in Danville as well as a cook for Oakwood High School and County Market. Jackie was a member at Batestown United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir, including solos, and played the piano. She also shared her voice talents through her time with the Sweet Adelines. She was an artist who loved to paint and sew, especially quilts. She loved all animals but held a special place in her heart for birds and her beloved chickens. She liked flower gardening and always fondly recalled the trip to Sweden she took with her sister. Most of all, she loved her family and will be missed dearly.

A graveside service for Jacqueline F. Tellier will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Danville. Pastor Patti Wise will officiate. Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 3940 N. Vermilion St., Danville, IL 61834 has been entrusted with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Batestown United Methodist Church.
