Jacob 'Jake' Hafner

Champaign- Jacob “Jake” Hafner, 33, of Champaign passed away at 5:15 PM on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at Presence Covenant Hospital in Urbana. He was born on February 21, 1980 in Danville, the son of Jon C. and Carole Pate Hafner. He is survived by his parents, Jon and Carole Hafner of Danville; a sister, Joy Hafner of Brownsburg, IN; a grandparent; two aunts, six uncles, and a step-uncle; and three nieces. He was preceded in death by three grandparents. Jake received great care at Swann Special Care Center where he resided in Champaign. Services for Jake Hafner will be held at 2 PM on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home in Danville. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 1-2 PM prior to the services on Tuesday, also at Sunset in Danville.
