Jacklyn Strahl

Jacklyn (Honn) Strahl, 76, of Danville passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Friday November 20, 2015. She was born the daughter of William and Lucinda (Spiering) Honn on March 12, 1939 in Danville. She married Edward Strahl on August 14, 1959 in Danville he survives. Also surviving Jacklyn are two daughters; Lorie Strahl of Tulson, AZ. and Tina Strahl of Danville, four sisters Carol Leverenz of Oakwood, Sharon Tuelp of Wellington, CO., Mary Rick of Cherokee Village, AR. and Shirley Linne of Collierville, TN., and many nieces and nephews. Jacklyn was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Edward Honn and one sister Dorthy Lazzell. Jacklyn loved music, enjoyed singing, traveling and entertaining at parties. Most of all she loved her family and the time they spent together. A Celebration of Jacklyn's life will be held at First Baptist Church in Danville on Tuesday November 24, 2015 at 2pm. With a visitation one hour prior to the service at the Church, with Pastor Paul Rebert officiating.
