Jackie 'Toot' Pitlik

Jackie "Toot" Pitlik, 65, of Indianola, Illinois, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2024, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois.

She was born June 20, 1958, in Danville, Illinois, daughter of the late Charles and Christina (Nabors) Sills.

Jackie married Frank Pitlik Jr. on March 24, 1979, in Danville, Illinois, and he preceded her in death on August 22, 2004.

Survivors include her significant other: Brian Barney; her siblings: Bonnie Crowder, Jeff (Rita) Sills, Michael (Joann) Estes; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Peppers.

Along with her parents and husband, Jackie was preceded in death by one brother: Kevin Sills; one sister: Karen Sills; one nephew: Jeffrey C. Sills and her brother-in-law: Larry Crowder.

Jackie loved watching baseball and football and was an avid Cubs, Illini and Dallas Cowboys fan. When not watching her favorite sports teams, Jackie enjoyed crocheting, bowling, playing bingo and listening to Elvis tunes. Her smile would light up a room and she will be missed by all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life for Jackie will be held at 12PM on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, with Pastor Raymie Gordon officiating at Sunset Funeral Homes Oakwood Chapel 105 E South Main Street Oakwood, Illinois. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, from 10AM-12PM at the funeral home in Oakwood. Burial will follow at the Danville National Cemetery.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes Oakwood Chapel 105 E South Main Street Oakwood, Illinois.

Memorials in Jackies name may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children with envelopes available at the funeral home.
