Jackie Lynne Maddox

Jackie Lynne Maddox, 66, of Westville, passed away at 9:47pm, Sunday, January 5, 2020, at her home. She was born on April 15, 1953, in Crawfordsville, IN, the daughter of Jackie D. and Barbara D. {Ford} Grubb. She was united in marriage to Stephen Lee Maddox on December 19, 1971, in Covington, IN. She was preceded in death by both her parents and husband. Jackie will be dearly missed by: her son, Stephen "Matt" (Laikin) Maddox of Westville; her daughters, Tasha (Brent) Tuggle of Westville and Keisha (Kevin) Eberly of Rossville; her grandchildren, SSgt. Brice (Kelsey) Howard, Keelan (Zaina) Pratt, Riley Tuggle, Kamden Maddox, Sophie Tuggle, Zoey Maddox, Remi Eberly, & Adler Maddox; her great grandchildren, Hayden Pratt, Sebastian Howard, Houston Pratt and one on the way; her brothers, Rick Grubb of Kentucky, Keith Grubb of Michigan, & Craig Grubb of Colorado; and her special friend, Maggie Davis of Westville. Jackie was a strong, independent woman, who took pride in having her nails and hair done. She worked as a bartender at many establishments over the years including Halfway and 610 Tap. She enjoyed getting to know the people she served and will be fondly remembered by many. She loved cooking and reading. She was known to love watching reality tv at a volume level of 100. Jackie loved her family and cherished the time she spent with them, especially her grandkids. A celebration of Jackies life will be held at 10:00am, Saturday, January 11, 2020 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Georgetown, Illinois 200 E. West St. Georgetown, Illinois 61846. Visitation will be held from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Friday, January 10, 2020 at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Covington, Indiana. Memorial donations may be given in her name to donors choice of Cancer Research or Hospice Care.
