Jack W. Prillaman died December 25, 2013 at Gifford Nursing Home, Gifford Illinois. Jack was born June 4, 1918 in Rossville, IL the son of Glenn and Alma Layton Prillaman. He married Anne Odle of Hoopeston on January 8, 1939, she survives. Also surviving are sons, Tom Prillaman (late Jean Puzey) of Potomac, IL and Richard (Nancy Dickie) Prillaman of Memphis, TN; four grandchildren, Jim (Becca) Prillaman of Memphis, TN, Amy (Jason) Buhr of Potomac, Anne (Greg) Jarling of Oakwood, IL, and Abby (Neil) Nebughr of Mahomet, IL. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Glenn, Jay, and Don Prillaman; and one son, James Prillaman. During WWII Jack was a B-17 tail gunner with the 8th Air Force, 381st Bomb Group, stationed in England. Jack was a farmer, International Harvester and Ford Dealer. He served on several boards and was a 64-year member of the Potomac American Legion 428. He enjoyed flying, boating, scuba diving, working in the woods and being around his grandchildren. He had a good run with no complaints. At Jacks request cremation rights have been accorded by Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 3940 N. Vermilion Street, Danville.
