Jack Nelson Taylor

Jack Nelson Taylor, 82, passed away at his home in Indianapolis, IN on November 5, 2013. He was born on August 17, 1931 in Danville, IL to Buford and Madge (Boucier) Taylor whom preceded him in death. He married Betty Jean Talbert on May 3, 1953 in Danville. Surviving him are his loving wife of 60 years Betty (Talbert) Taylor. Also by his children Shelley (Mike) Lazzell, Mike (Betsy) Taylor, and Jamie (Todd) Hustel and grandchildren Nathan (Lindsey) Lazzell, Emily Lazzell, Zachary Taylor, Katie Braman, Megan, Jack, Matthew, and Claire Hustel, and one great grandson Caden Lazzell. One brother Charles Taylor, one sister-in-law Polly Loeffler, and many nieces and nephews. Jack loved family and enjoyed being with them. He was retired from R&S Printing Company after which he pursued his love of golf daily. He was a member of the Vermilion Heights Christian Church. He was an avid Cardinals fan. A celebration of Jacks life will be held on November 9, 2013 at 3:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville with Kenny Boswick officiating. A visitation will be held from 1:00-3:00 PM prior to the service. Entombment will take place at Sunset Memorial Park.
