Danville Jack Lee Kimball, 93, of Danville, IL passed away at 12:20 AM at OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center in Danville, IL on March 15, 2022.

Jack was born on February 19, 1929 the son of Inez R. Kimball in Danville, IL. He was married to Mary Ruth Lambert and later Gail Shannon, both of whom preceded him in death. On February 15, 2020 he married Darlene Andrews in Danville, IL and she survives.

Survivors include his wife, Darlene Kimball of Danville, IL, his daughter, Mary Ann (Wayne) Martin of Morgantown, IN, his sons, Jack (Lynn) Kimball Jr. of Dana, IN, and John Paul (Jamee) Kimball of Terre Haute, IN, and his stepdaughter, Crystal (Tim) Starr of Danville, IL, his stepsons, Steve (Vickie) Miethie of Tilton, IL, Ronnie Bailey of Danville, IL, David Bailey of Danville, IL, grandchildren, Sheila (Theo) Keller of Newport IN and Jill Fortner of Fishers, IN, Anthony Martin of Indianapolis, IN, Ashly (Troy) Kimball of Montezuma, IN, great grandchildren, Andrea Harden, Connor Fortner, Audrey Fortner, step grandchildren, John Strader Jr., Lacee Cooper and Harley (Lucas) Reynolds, great great-grandchildren, Clayton Harden, Owen Kimball, Charly Kimball and Max Kimball.

Jack was preceded in death by his mother Inez Kimball, 2 sons, Mark Eric Kimball and Glen Allen Kimball, wives, Mary Ruth Lambert Kimball Kyger and Gail Shannon Miethe Kimball and stepson, Mike Miethe

Jack was a sheet metal worker and retired from Henry Berline Sheet Metal of Danville, IL, and also worked on the railroad in his younger years. He enjoyed Scuba diving and tinkering in the barn, and was also a 32nd Degree Mason in the Catlin Lodge.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, March 21, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834. Pastor Rod Godley will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 PM on Sunday, March 20, 2022 at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made in Jacks Shriners Childrens Hospital.
