Jack Lambert

Jack A. Lambert, age 73, of Danville, passed away on Friday, November 28, 2008 at North Logan Health Care in Danville. He was born December 7, 1934 in Albion, Edwards County, IL the son of Clarence Eli and Wilma (Elliott) Lambert. Jack married Nancy McCleary on July 22, 1978 in Tolono, IL. She survives. He is also survived by four sisters: Dorothy (Dick) Shiley, Judy Winkler, Susan (Jim) Sheils, Kathy (Bob) Wood; his special friends: Tim and Heather Bush of Catlin and their three daughters: Estella, Gwendelyn, Victoria, and many loved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother: George Lambert. Jack served in the United States Army from September 2, 1953 to May 18, 1955 receiving the rank of Pvt. 1st Class SP3/T. He served in the 7th Army, Company B. 54th EBC. He worked for Clifford and Jacobs Forging Company for 33 years until his retirement in 1999. Jack loved to go fishing. Jacks family will be celebrating his life at the next family reunion in 2009.
