Jack R Fink

Jack R. Fink, 88, of Danville, passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at Pleasant Meadows Senior Living Facility in Chrisman, Illinois. He was born February 1, 1938 in Clinton, Iowa, the son of Jack and Katherine(Hoosack) Fink. He attended Creighton University in Omaha and the University of Iowa. He married Connie Bock on November 16, 1963 in Clinton, Iowa. She survives.

He is also survived by his daughter, Jennifer Corona and granddaughter, Isabell Corona of Georgetown, Kentucky, plus many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Jack worked as a parts representative for Hyster Company in Danville for many years. He and his wife owned the Nutty Nut Shop from 1984 to 2002. He retired in 2002. Jack was a member of St. Paul’s Church in Danville and a former member of the Urbana Country Club.

Jack’s favorite words during the last months of his life were- “Faith” – “Love” – “Memories.”

Per his wishes, there will be no visitation or services. A private entombment will be held at Sunset Memorial Park. Arrangements are being handled by Sunset Funeral Home, 3940 N Vermilion St, Danville, IL.
