Jack Conner

Jackie "Jack" Conner, 73, of Covington, Indiana, passed away at 3:14am, Tuesday, April 28, 2020, at OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center, Danville, Illinois. He was born on July 26, 1946 in Crawfordsville, IN the son of Alvin and Josephine {Thomas} Conner, both deceased. He was united in marriage to Vicki Allen on June 26, 1966, until her passing on April 1, 2018. Those who will miss him include: his children, Mike (Tracey) Conner, Philip (Lee) Conner Paul (Shawn) Conner, & Joe (Holly) Conner; his siblings, Marilyn Johnson, Paul Leon Conner, Donna VanEtta, Sharon Roberts, Allan Conner, John Conner, Alice Stonebraker & Loretta Livengood; his numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and his best & faithful buddy, Bo. He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Jackie Conner II; and his granddaughter, Kaylee. Jack worked for TeePak for over 30 years. He was known to have a knack for telling stories and jokes. He could be found piddling around with everything and working here and there, as well as having a fire going in the pasture. But when he could, he could be found napping in the woods. He loved his grandchildren and made sure they knew it. His legacy will live on through the memories he left with those he loved. Due to current coronavirus restrictions, a private family visitation will be held. A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm, Friday, May 1, 2020, at Gopher Hill Cemetery in State Line, Indiana, all family members and friends are welcome (with 6-feet social distancing rules to be observed between attendees and no parking in grass at cemetery).
