Jaci Miller

Jaci Miller, 61, of Danville, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 9, 2014. Jaci was born July 28, 1952, the daughter of Edward Eugene and Wilma LaJean (Jones) Miller, Sr. in Danville, Illinois. Jaci is survived by one son, Joey Miller, of Champaign, her mother, three siblings, Linda (Michael) Cottle of Danville, Diana Miller of Lebanon, Indiana, and Edward E. (Annette) Miller, Jr. of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, and a special sister-in-law Lee Fellers of Tilton. Also left behind are her beloved nieces and nephews, Jerry (Tanya) Richter, Jr., Angela (Herschel) Fall, Edward Miller III, Seth Miller, James Miller, Dennis (Kira) Miller, and Tomi (Gary) King, along with several great nieces and nephews. Jaci also left behind two close friends Cheryl Wright and Helen Cappello. She was preceded in death by her father, maternal grandparents, paternal grandparents, and Rev. Joe and Lee Prouty. Jaci attended Oakwood High School and ISU where she studied Education. She worked 30 years at Quaker before retiring. She was a member of the Holy Communion Chapel, where she loved her entire church family. Jaci enjoyed fishing, camping, and above all things spending time with her family. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. A celebration of Jacis life will be held at 1 PM on Monday, April 14, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, a Life Celebration Home in Danville, Illinois. A visitation will be held on Sunday, April 13, 2014 from 2:00-5:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorials may be made in Jacis name to the Holy Communion Chapel, in lieu of flowers.
