J. Luanne Jarvis

J. Luanne Jarvis, 82, of Naples, Florida, passed away on December 23, 2022. She was born on August 16, 1940, in Hazel Dell, Illinois, the daughter of Virginia and Lee Fogleman. She married Jerry Price in 1959 and later married Bob Jarvis in 1974. She is survived by her son-in-law, Niles "Doug" Vance of Kendallville, IN; stepchildren, Bradley (Lisa) Jarvis of Naples, FL and Stacey (Ron) Howe of Catlin, IL; grandchildren, Matthew Vance, Sara (Aaron) Anderson, Ryan Price, Tylor Price, Kyle Price, Seth Jarvis, Dane Jarvis, Jarvis (Letizia) Howe, Sawyer Howe, Erika Allen, Cory Allen, Isabella Howe and Megan (Ryan) Howe-High; sisters, Linda Cannon of Oakwood, and Millie (Mike) Wilson of Danville; brother, John Fogleman of Danville. She is also survived by great granddaughter, Iris Anderson, and several step great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Luanne was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Bob Jarvis; daughter, Darcy Vance; son, Jeff Price; stepson, Steve Jarvis; parents, Virginia, and Lee; brother, Ron "Buck" Fogleman; brother-in-law, Larry Cannon; sisters in law, Judy, and Dotsy Fogleman; nephew, Scotty Bell. Luanne was a member of the Westville American Legion Auxiliary, Naples Women of the Moose, Mayflower UCC church in Naples. She was Past President of the Danville BPW, Westville Womens Club, Blue Needles Ladies Golf Assn., charter member of the Money Minders Investment Club, and longtime member of the Liverpool Card Club. Luanne was employed by Danville Elks Club from 1973 to 1980, Clifton, Gunderson 1980 to 1995, and Opportunity Specialists 1995 to 2005. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family. A memorial service for Luanne will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, May 20, 2023, at Trinity United Church of Christ in Westville, IL. A visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the service. She will be laid to rest at Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Westville.
