DANVILLE- Irvin Buck Copenhaver, 92, of Danville passed away on January 13, 2008 at the Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Danville. He was born on March 17, 1915, in Clarence, Mo., the son of Marcus and Mary ONeal Copenhaver. Both deceased. Buck was married to Maureen Warner until her death in 1970. He was later married to Clara Matthews Jackson until her death in 1996, and then married Iris Davis on December 14, 1996 in Danville. She survives. Also surviving are two stepsons: John Smith of Danville, Michael Smith of Garland TX., and stepdaughter: Lori Keener of Rockford, IL. Five step- grandchildren, one-step granddaughter, and four step great-grandsons also survive Buck. His brother Gene Copenhaver, and his two sisters; Florence Shephard, and Hermiline Whitney also survive Buck as well as many of his nieces and nephews. Three sisters, Dorothy Feaster, Estell Fry, Fern Tracey, one brother, Kenneth Copenhaver, and his good friend, Jack Smith precedes Buck in death. Buck worked in construction and as a farmer. He was a Member of the Farmers Chapel Church in Danville, and the Bismarck Lions Club. He enjoyed fixing things and going to the Coffee Shop in Bismarck. He loved working with the farmland and what it represented.
