Iva Rotramel

Iva Belle Rotramel. She was 95 years old at the time of her passing. She was called back to heaven on Wednesday the 26th in her sleep to join with all of those that went before her. She passed in Champaign IL where she resided for the last 70 years. Iva was born in Weldon Illinois, she married the love of her life, James Rotramel and had three children, James Jr., Jay, and Michael. She is survived by her sister Sandra, sons Jay and Michael as well as four grandchildren and several great grandchildren. As far as hobbies / passions, she was a fan of arts and crafts, taking classes to become quite accomplished at painting and stained glass. She was well known in the family as an incredible cook and costume designer. Several of the costumes she made for the family won 1st place in contests they were entered in. She will be dearly missed.

A graveside ceremony will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery 1803 N. Coler Ave. Urbana, IL. 61801 on Friday March 21, 2025, at 1pm.
