Isacc B. Whitlock

Isaac B. Whitlock, 83, of Chapmansboro, TN, passed away at 9:30am, Tuesday, November 11, 2008, at Manor House of Dover, Dover, TN. He was born on July 21, 1925, in Ridge Farm, IL, the son of Roy and Bessie (Hixon) Whitlock. He was wed to Bonnie Hester on November 11, 1944, until her death in 1991. He later wed Barbara Powell in October 1993 until her passing in January 1995. Those who will miss him include: his daughter, Kristine (Steve) Apa of Chapmansboro, TN; his six grandchildren, Thaddeus (Cecy) Apa now stationed in Tel Aviv, Israel, Patricia (Tracy) Speight of Covington, TN, Averi (Brian) OCain of Hohenwald, TN, Anthony (Sarah) Apa of Murfreesboro, TN, Joshua Apa of Knoxville, TN, and Steven Apa Jr. of Columbia, TN; and his nine great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by: his parents; one son, William B. Whitlock in 1993; two brothers; and one sister. Isaac was a Veteran of the US Army and had fought in WWII. He was a farmer and enjoyed raising cattle and hunting. He was also a member of the Ridge Farm Friends. A celebration of Isaacs life will be held at 11:00am, Friday, November 14th, 2008, at Ridge Farm Friends Church, East North St, Ridge Farm, IL, with visitation one hour prior. Justin Weber will officiate. He will be laid to rest in Crown Hill Cemetery. Sunsets Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
