Isabelle Kupcik

Isabelle E. Kupcik, 91, of Westville passed away at 10:25 p.m. Saturday October 7, 2006 at North Logan Health Care Center. She was born on September 17, 1915 in Hegeler, IL the daughter of Joseph and Josephine (Dombrausky) Sumolis. She married Fred Kupcik and he preceded her in death. She later married Andrew Kupcik in September of 1936 in Streator, IL. He preceded her in death on July 12, 1951. Survivors include: one daughter, Joann (Gerald) Draper of Westville; three sons, Andrew Kupcik of Georgetown, Ronald Kupcik of Westville, and Anthony Kupcik of Westville; four grandchildren, Kevin (Jennifer) Kupcik, Kurt Kupcik, Todd Kupcik, and Tracy (David) McCrae and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and one sister. Isabelle enjoyed reading, crocheting, and crossword puzzles. She also loved flowers and working in her flower garden. Most of all she loved spending time with her family. A celebration of Isabelles life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday October 10, 2006 at the Sunset-Urbas Westville Chapel. Rev. James Blue will be officiating. Burial will be at Lithuanian National Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
