Irma Ilene Jordan, 82, of Georgetown, passed away at 8:36pm, Thursday, April 11, 2013, at Hawthorne Inn, Danville. She was born on August 23, 1930, in St. Bernice, Indiana, the daughter of James A. and Grace {Eslinger} Haga, both deceased. She was united in marriage to Harold Cork' Jordan on August 26, 1950, in Ridge Farm, IL. He survives. She is also survived by: her children, James (Barbara) Jordan of Rochester, NY, Carol (Terry) Scott of Bowling Green, IN, Donna (Dr. Greg) Andrews of Quincy, IL, & Pam Elder of Danville; her siblings, Jerry Haga of Mattoon, IL, Martha Babe' Meeks of Springhill, FL, & Mary (Chuck) Reardon of Villa Grove; her grandchildren, Angela (Brion) Burger of Caledonia, NY, Jason Jordan, Diana Jordan, both of Rochester, NY, Michael (Kristin) Scott, Karyn Scott, both of Bowling Green, IN, Dr. Gregory (Marissa) Scott of Tomahawk, WI, Eric Andrews of Columbia, MO, Thomas Andrews, Kelsey Andrews, both of Columbia, MO, Caleb Andrews of Grand Rapids, MI, & Robbie (Anvita) Elder of Indianapolis, IN; her great grandchildren, Isabelle & Gabriella Burger, Christopher Jordan, Elijah Elder, Mariah, Toby, Eli, & Zachary Scott. She was preceded in death by: her brothers, Gene, Earl, & James Haga; her sister, Elaine Nanie' Marshall; her sister, Ruby Davis; and her great granddaughter, Susannah Burger. Irma was a member of the Vermilion Valley Quilter's Guild, Georgetown Home Extension, & First Church of Christ. She volunteered at the Georgetown Fair in the Culinary Department. She was a homemaker who loved to tend flowers and especially enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a great wife and mother who will be missed dearly. A celebration of Irma's life will be held at 10:00am, Monday, April 15, 2013, at Sunset's Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home, Georgetown, with Phil Miller officiating. Visitation will be held 3:00pm - 6:00pm, Sunday, April 14, 2013, at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest Woodlawn Cemetery. Memorial donations may be given in her name to First Church of Christ, Georgetown.
